QuickBooks Online Advanced is no longer just the place where transactions get recorded. Intuit has built AI agents into the product to take on routine work, and QuickBooks now connects directly to popular AI assistants, so you can ask questions of your books, build analyses, and draft reports in plain English. Add Spreadsheet Sync, which moves QuickBooks data in and out of Excel, and the AI now built into spreadsheets, and a long list of tasks no longer needs to be done by hand. This session looks at what's new in QuickBooks Online Advanced, what's coming, and how to decide which work to hand to automation. The session focuses on QuickBooks Online Advanced, where most of Intuit's AI and automation features are available; users on other plans will see what they gain by moving up. This is a practical tour for the people who work in QuickBooks every day. Will this course show me how to move data into Excel?

Yes. We specifically cover Spreadsheet Sync, which allows you to move data both in and out of Excel. You will also see how to use the AI tools built into spreadsheets to speed up your reporting.

Does the AI handle everything automatically now?

It handles many routine tasks, but it isn't perfect. We will spend time learning how to evaluate AI-generated results to determine when a professional needs to step in and make a correction.
